WHAT: ENCHANTING CHAMBER WORKS – Come enjoy an afternoon of exciting chamber music. Selections will include the charming Alberto Ginastera String Quartet # 1 with its references to Argentine folk themes; the glorious String Quartet in F Major of Maurice Ravel and a vibrant contemporary piece, “Entr’acte” by young American composer Caroline Shaw.
WHO: CON BRIO STRING QUARTET
Valentin Mansurov, Violin 1; Marina Lenau, Violin 2, David Pedraza, Viola, and Aziz Sapaev, Cello. Hailing from Russia, Ukraine, Mexico and Uzbekistan, these talented young players have received numerous accolades and competitive awards and are based in SE Florida. They concertize all over the US as well as internationally and they perform with the Symphony of the Americas, the Palm Beach Symphony, and the Florida Grand Opera and the Palm Beach Pops.
