Artist and Business Forum
Are you an artist seeking a wall for your next mural, or a business owner seeking an artist for a mural on your property? Join our forum and get engaged with our community.
This forum has been created to expand downtown Clearwater’s reputation as an arts-friendly destination by connecting artists with businesses seeking to enhance their property by commissioning high-quality murals. While artwork can enhance the quality of life for all, this forum is limited to properties within the boundaries of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) District: Court/Chestnut Streets (south), Drew/Jones Streets (north), Clearwater Harbor (west), and Highland Avenue (east). Artists are encouraged to share their past projects and portfolio as a means of advertising their abilities. Businesses are encouraged to share opportunities for murals on privately owned property. Please note that while the Clearwater CRA encourages the commission of private murals, it is not responsible for the content or quality of murals created as a result of this forum.
- Businesses must be within the CRA District – Court/Chestnut Streets (south), Drew/Jones Streets (north), Clearwater Harbor (west), and Highland Avenue (east). See the CRA’s boundary map here.
- No Spam – This forum defines spam as advertisement for goods, services, and/or posts with little or content completely unrelated to the creation and commission of murals.
- Do not post copyright-infringing material – Artists posting their portfolios and images of past projects assert that they are the creators of such materials and that their work does not violate the copyright of other artists.
- Do not post offensive language, links, or images – Any materials which can be considered defamation, harassment, or abuse are strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overtly discriminatory is not permitted on this forum.
Remain respectful of other members at all times – All posts should be professional and courteous. Posts may not be used to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle participants or the quality of their work.
