Outdoor Movie Night: The Santa Clause

As part of the third annual Holiday Extravaganza in Downtown Clearwater, we’re bringing back holiday movie nights, featuring an outdoor screening of “The Santa Clause” starting at 6 p.m.

Prior to the movie at 5 p.m., we’re hosting a special iteration of Children’s Day/El Día Del Niño, which will feature dance performances by Nina Mariachi and Grupo Mahetzi, and children’s bike giveaways! 

For Clearwater residents in the Downtown Gateway who need it, La Chiva Bus will also be offering free shuttle ride service from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Pickup location is 1401 Cleveland Street, and will drop attendees off at 301 Pierce Street for the movie viewing/

This event is free and open to the public, part of the 2020 Holiday Extravaganza with the city of Clearwater’s Community Redevelopment Agency. Registration is required and attendance will be limited. 

The city of Clearwater is excited to continue our annual holiday celebration and present this year’s Holiday Extravaganza. Attendee health and safety is of utmost priority and we’ve considered how best to move forward amidst COVID-19. We’ve been closely monitoring the situation with the help of local and state authorities, while also watching the response of other large scale public events. We will be re-imagining events to allow for social distancing and will be requiring masks for attendees.
