Cleveland Street Pedestrian Plaza

As of May 4, the state of Florida is in phase one of reopening following the “Safer at Home” policy in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. As part of the city of Clearwater’s efforts to support local business owners during this time, the city of Clearwater City Manager’s office has approved a temporary street closure of the 400 and 500 blocks of Cleveland Street in Downtown Clearwater through May 31.
To expand opportunities for downtown businesses to provide services and comply with physical distancing guidelines, the 400 and 500 blocks of Cleveland Street will be closed to vehicular traffic, but remain open for pedestrians, shoppers and diners.
