GRAMMY® Award Winner and Guitar World Hall of Famer, John Petrucci, makes his Bilheimer Capitol Theatre debut featuring Mike Portnoy & Dave LaRue with special guest Meanstreak! Petrucci brings his solo instrumental guitar performance on tour for the very first time! John Petrucci is best known as guitarist and co-founder of the GRAMMY® Award winning progressive metal band, Dream Theater. Featuring former Dream Theater bandmate Mike Portnoy on drums, and the legendary Dave LaRue on bass, the evening’s program includes tracks from John Petrucci’s Suspended Animation and long-anticipated, recently released follow-up, Terminal Velocity.
Alongside special guests, the all-female metal band Meanstreak, this night promises to be a can’t – miss celebration of guitar virtuosity and musical prowess. Meanstreak’s album Roadkill is considered one of the best female thrash metal albums of all time. They disbanded in the early 90’s when the grunge scene took over and recently reunited bringing back their hard hitting, melodic, heavy metal blend to the studio and stage in 2022.
