John Waite

June 1 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm

70’s & 80’s Rock Icon John Waite returns to Clearwater for the Wooden Heart Storyteller Tour! As a solo artist and as the lead singer of the Babys and Bad English, he is a fixture of 70s and ’80s album-oriented rock. Waite had a talent for power ballads and driving arena rock, occasionally touching on new wave-styled power pop as well. Several of his songs — including Missing You, The Babys, Isn’t It Time and Bad English’s When I See You Smile — became radio staples.

Tickets are $50, $35, & $25. Performance is at the Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St, Downtown Clearwater.

New this season! The Capitol Theatre has joined with the renowned Clear Sky on Cleveland to offer a delicious premium dining and entertainment experience for $130 (Menu A) or $120 (Menu B). View Package Options
