Peace Concert Series

No tickets. Offering takenWHAT: “MADE IN AMERICA” Come enjoy a fascinating program showcasing the wide range of musical styles and rich sounds of the saxophone quartet. The concert features works by American composers, including George Gershwin and Philip Glass, as well as new compositions dedicated to this exciting young ensemble. Seating is first come, first served.
No tickets needed but an offering will be taken ($5-$10 minimum suggested). Doors open no earlier than 2:30; kindly avoid congregating at entries.

Since its inception in 2007, this award- winning ensemble has performed all over the country premiering new works and giving renewed life and energy to many original masterworks. While each player is an accomplished soloist, their sensitive work as a chamber group is exquisite. MANA offers a vivid reimagining of the saxophone’s 19th century heritage – a refined aesthetic characterized by intrinsic warmth, dynamic range and versatility.
