WHAT: SONGS FROM THE SILVER SCREEN Join us for a rollicking good time as xylophonist Heather Thorn wields her mallets and dances over the keys. Heather and vocalist Krissy Vavrek, joined by a great jazz combo, will bring us great tunes highlighting Songs of the Silver Screen, including Over the Rainbow, Dancing in the Rain, As Time Goes By and many more. No tickets needed, but an offering will be taken ($5-$10 minimum suggested). Doors open no earlier than 2:30.
WHO: HEATHER THORN, XYLOPHONE; KRISSY VAVREK, VOCALS Heather is a favorite at the Suncoast Jazz Fest and is joined this year bya lovely singer Krissy Vavrek and a wonderful jazz band: Daniel Jordan on saxophone/flute; Per Danielsson on piano; and Alejandro Arenas on bass. Dan has toured before with Natalie Cole and Ray Charles.
