Peace Concert Series

WHAT: HOLIDAY MAGIC – Join us for a charming program including holiday favorites “The First Noel,” “O Holy Night,” and “Greensleeves.” The concert will also feature classical selections in the spirit of the season with delightful works by Jean Cras, Andriessen, and Rota. The rich acoustics of the Peace sanctuary are perfectly suited to enhance the sounds of these instruments.

WHO: ASTRALIS CHAMBER DUO: Angela Massey, Flute; Rachel O’Brien, Harp
Angela holds the flute/piccolo position with the SW Florida Symphony, Venice Symphony and plays regularly with the Sarasota Orchestra. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Astralis Chamber Ensemble, a talented collection of instrumentalists performing chamber works in the U. S. and internationally. Rachel O’Brien holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied harp performance under Yolanda Kondonassis. An award-winning artist, she has appeared with top symphonies across the country and is also passionate about inspiring and teaching young musicians.
