Peace Concert Series

WHAT: CELEBRATE J S BACH – For our final season concert, come enjoy a program of works of Johann Sebastian Bach. In addition to trios and chorale preludes, we will hear two virtuosic selections including the Prelude and Fugue in D Major, BWV 532, and the monumental Passacaglia in C Minor, BWV 582. Seating is first come, first served. No tickets required, but an offering will be taken ($5-$10 minimum suggested). Doors open at 2:30.
WHO: ALEXANDER STRAUS- FAUSTO- This fine young organist hails from Ontario Canada. He is in the final year of his master’s degree in organ performance at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, having earned his Bachelor of Music from Mc Gill University School of Music. He currently studies under the direction of Dr. Martin Jean. He is a member of The Diapason’s “20 under 30 class of 2023,” which recognizes artists under the age of 30 who have made significant contributions to the fields of organ and harpsichord performance, organ building, carillon, and church music.
