Ribbon Cutting: The District

While COVID-19 may have temporarily closed the restaurants and retailers on Cleveland Street, the business pause and the new rules for social distancing became catalysts for the business owners to join forces in relaunching the area as a downtown destination. Rebranded as “The District – Clearwater, FL,” the 400 – 600 blocks of Cleveland Street now feature a diverse culinary experience of 10 (soon to be 12) restaurants, open-air dining and live outside entertainment throughout the weekend. Visit “The District” with its breathtaking views of the Clearwater Beach Bridge, the Beach skyline and the downtown marina.

To celebrate the official launch of “The District,” Honorable Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard, and Clearwater Downtown Merchants Association co-chairs Scott Sousa, General Manager of Clear Sky Global Bistro, and Carolyn Bradham, owner of Kara Lynn’s Kitchen, will host a ribbon cutting with AMPLIFY Clearwater. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 30 at 11:30 a.m. in front of Roma NYC Boutique, 410 Cleveland Street. The event is free to attend and the public is invited.
