The Bilheimer Capitol Theatre presents Classic Albums Live: Dire Straits Brothers in Arms

Classic Albums Live brings Dire Straits’ Brothers In Arms note for note, cut for cut, live on stage to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre! Using the world’s greatest musicians, Classic Albums Live takes chart-topping albums to the big stage without all the gimmickry and cheesy impersonations. The fifth studio album by British rock band Dire Straits, Brothers In Arms was unstoppable from the moment of its release in May 1985. This mega album winner of two GRAMMY® awards in 1986, went nine-times platinum and sold more in 30 million copies worldwide while also spawning five hit singles including Walk of Life, So Far Away, Your Latest Trick and the title track. Led by guitarist/vocalist Mark Knopfler, the group built their sound upon the laid-back blues-rock of J.J. Cale, but also had jazz and country inflections, occasionally dipping into the epic song structures of progressive rock.

Tickets are $35, $45, and $50.
