Yngwie Malmsteen returns to perform his greatest hits and Glenn Hughes will perform Deep Purple classics celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Album Burn. GRAMMY® nominated Swedish guitar player and songwriter Yngwie Malmsteen brings his neoclassical metal playing style back to Clearwater. Yngwie’s career has spanned over 40 years with over twenty albums to his name. His first solo album, Rising Force (now considered the bible for neoclassical rock) was released in 1984 and made it to #60 on the Billboard charts. Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. Hughes joined Deep Purple in 1973 and is set to perform hits from Burn, the stunning album which rejuvenated the band and stands tall among Deep Purple classics.
