Date: 03/21/2018 1:16 PM

The city of Clearwater’s Planning and Development Department staff will host a public meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 28 at the Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave., in Downtown Clearwater, on updates to the Downtown Zoning District and the Downtown Design Standards.

The city’s Community Redevelopment Agency will also present strategies on the implementation of the Clearwater Downtown Redevelopment Plan.

The Downtown Zoning District and Downtown Design Standards specify the criteria for regulating uses, building placement, building height, parking and vehicle circulation, pedestrian and landscape improvement and building façade design standards.

The Clearwater Downtown Redevelopment Plan presents a long-term vision for Downtown Clearwater and includes an implementation plan with the goal of making existing properties and buildings more viable while preserving the Downtown Clearwater character.
