CLEARWATER – Clearwater has been named the most affordable destination for snowbirds by travel website Tripping.com.
The website released its list of the 25 Most Affordable Snowbird Destinations in 2018 last week, and four Florida cities were named the top locations, with Clearwater topping the list. New Smyrna Beach, Haines City and St. Petersburg rounded out the top places on the list.
Affordability, along with access to sunshine and entertainment amenities, were some of the metrics used to determine the list.
